 課程理念
依據短片中的不同主題 (如:Creativity, Speed Dating),讓學員熟悉該主題字彙及用法後,進而對話討論,以活潑的課堂活動取代傳統的教學方式,讓學員更能學以致用,增強聽、說能力。
 課程目標
學習英文其中一個最讓人輕鬆愉快的方式,莫過於看短片學英文了!看短片的優點是透過生活化的場景、特定的情境、大量對話,讓學員可以有效率地吸收課本上學不到的道地英語。

課程大綱
第一週Orientation 課程介紹 / IN A HEARTBEAT 心跳Students learn and practice expressions using the word “heart”, watch a short film trailer, predict and write a story, watch and discuss a short film, and watch and discuss a video in which elderly people give their reactions to the short film.
第二週DIFFERENCE 不一樣Small children talk about how they are different from their best friends. In the lesson students describe how they are different from their best friends, watch a video without sound speculating about what the children are saying, watch the video with soun
第三週WHAT IF? 倘若?Students show choose and their own video, talk about video creation, watch a short film, complete a video transcript, watch a promotional video for a video creation competition and create a promotional video for their own institution.

第五週ALL THAT WE SHARE 共通點In the lesson students talk about the communities they belong to, find out what they share with their classmates, read a transcript, watch and discuss a video about what a community shares.
第六週THE EMPLOYMENT 工作Students revise job vocabulary, talk about jobs and employment, and watch and discuss a short film about employment.
第七週JULIO DIAZ 狄亞茲的故事A young man explains what he did when he was mugged at knifepoint. In the lesson students talk about an imaginary situation, listen to a story, watch a video, speak, and write an account of an incident from another person's perspective.
第八週ALIKE 相似In the lesson students practise using alike, adjectives to describe character and routines, watch a short film, predict how the film will end and speak about the film.

第十週ALI'S STORY 艾利的故事Students practise vocabulary related to refugees, speak about refugees, watch a short film, empathise with refugee children and write an account of a refugee child fleeing their country.
第十一週LEARNING A LANGUAGE 學習語言Students discuss why they are learning English, come up with reasons why people learn a new language and the benefits of learning a new language, watch a short film and discuss ways to improve their language learning.
第十二週TAKING FLIGHT 搭飛機Students watch a short film, predict a story, retell a story, discuss the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren, and discuss a short film.
第十三週PENELOPE IN THE TREEHOUSE 在樹屋裡的潘妮洛普In the lesson students watch but don't hear the start of a short film, decide what is happening and what the characters are saying, predict the rest of the story and write a story.
第十四週THE BOY WHO LEARNED TO FLY 學飛的那個男孩In the lesson students speak about sports and the Olympic games, watch a short film, retell a story and write a summary of a story.
第十五週THE DNA JOURNEY 基因旅程In this lesson students watch a short video, make predictions, and speak about nationalities, ethnic groups, racism and genetics.
第十六週LOST PROPERTY 消失的物品Students do a dictation, work out meanings of the verb ‘lose’, speak about lost items, watch a trailer and short film, and write a story.
第十七週SPEED DATING 快速約會In the lesson students talk about meeting a partner and dating, watch a short film, and read and discuss speed-dating questions.
